Its been quite a while since I have posted any really cool gaming or even just general geeky cakes so when I came across this one, I knew I just had to share it.  Playstation fans such as myself will love this incredibly detailed PlayStation 1 cake that looks almost real enough to play!

In the past I have posted a couple of cool Playstation cakes like this shiny Playstation 3 cake and this PS1 cake for the 10th anniversary of the PlayStation Blog but this is the first true PlayStation 1 cake that I have come across.

Judging by the watermark, this cake was created by The Bake King.  I can’t say I have ever heard of them before but from the looks of this PlayStation 1 cake, they have definitely earned that name!  This has to be one of the cleanest looking game console cakes I have ever seen.  Its a shame they don’t live near me because I could use somebody with this level of skill to make me a cool birthday cake like this sometime.  Although I would probably go with a Nintendo themed cake since that is what I grew up on.

I have to admit, I have never owned a PS1 since I didn’t jump on the PlayStation bandwagon until the PS2 but I think I can still appreciate this delicious looking cake like anybody who did own the console.  And just looking at it is certainly making me hungry for some cake!
