I feel like cupcakes are the most underrated of all the baked goods.  Whenever I see them, I have a very hard time passing them up (unless they are those disgusting carrot cake ones).  However, most cupcakes just have a little frosting and maybe some sprinkles on them.  Its not often you see them taken to the next level like these amazing Donkey Kong cupcakes have been!

Last week, I posted an incredible Donkey Kong cake that would blow the mind of any Donkey Kong Country fan.  And if that wetted your appetite, today I bring you some delicious looking Donkey Kong cupcakes!

These Donkey Kong cupcakes feature Donkey Kong (of course), leaves, bananas and those DK coins from the Donkey Kong Country games.  And they appear to be deliciously chocolatey!  I’m not entirely sure if Donkey Kong is edible but even if he isn’t, he sure looks great!

Sadly, I have no idea who made this delicious gaming greatness to give them credit for their amazing baked goods since it seems nothing ever gets attributed on social media these days.  If you happen to know who made these cupcakes, please let me know in the comments below so they can get the credit they absolutely deserve!

Maybe its a bad idea that I’m posting stuff like this while I am trying to lose weight but I can’t help but wanting to share great stuff like this!  Even if it does mess up my diet because it makes me crave cupcakes so bad that I have to go and buy some.
