I always think those glass elevator shafts that allow you to both see in and out of the elevator have always been my favorite sorts of elevator shafts.  I don’t have claustrophobia but it makes it feel more open and relaxing compared to just the normal small metal box you ride up and down in.  Well, I think I have now found an even cooler idea for an elevator shaft.  You might not be able to see it from the inside, but this Donkey Kong elevator shaft looks amazing from the outside!

I guess I am just assuming this is an elevator shaft just from the looks of it and how I’m used to seeing them sticking out from buildings but I suppose it might just be a closet on every floor or something.  But I’m just going to assume that its an elevator and go with that.

I saw this epic Donkey Kong elevator shaft picture floating around on Facebook recently but unfortunately there was no mention of where it was located, who created it or even who took the picture.  So if you happen to know any of those things, please let me know in the comments below so that the creators can get credit and people can go and visit this bit of Donkey Kong greatness in person!

This isn’t the first bit of outdoors Donkey Kong greatness I have posted recently as it wasn’t that long ago that I shared a picture of a Donkey Kong fire escape that is almost as cool as this is.

I guess you might actually call this a Donkey Kong mural which would be the first I’ve ever seen and hopefully not the last!
