Journey

FREE GAME: Journey (PS3 & PS4)

Yesterday I posted about posted about how Sony is giving away a collection of the first three Uncharted games for PlayStation 4 owners and they are also giving away the award winning game Journey at the same time!

I can’t say I have ever played Journey but I have heard a lot of great things about it so this might end up getting kind of high on my list of games to play in the near future.

As part of Sony’s PlayAtHome campaign to give PlayStation gamers something to play while they are stuck at home because of the COVID-19 pandemic, you can pick up Journey for free until May 5th 2020!

Here is a description of the game and at the bottom of the post I have included the trailer for those who want to get a feel for the game.

Explore the ancient, mysterious world of Journey as you soar above ruins and glide across sands to discover its secrets. Play alone or in the company of a fellow traveler and explore its vast world together. Featuring stunning visuals and a Grammy-nominated musical score, Journey delivers a breathtaking experience like no other.

For one price, get Journey on PS4™ and PS3™. Purchase it on one system and it will automatically appear for download on your other systems.

Perhaps one of the best parts is that not only is this for those who own a PlayStation 4 but you can also get Journey for the PS3 too!  Since Sony quit including PS3 games in their monthly PS+ games giveaway, this might be one of if not the last time you get a free game for them on the PS3.  Oh, and I should probably clarify, you do NOT have to have a PlayStation Plus subscription to get this game (or the UNCHARTED: The Nathan Drake Collection).  Just get it while the offer is good and its yours to keep!

So how do you pick up Journey for free?  There are three ways you can get it.  One, you can get it from the PlayStation Store website here.  Two, you can go on the PlayStation mobile app and find it in the store (not the collectors edition) and add it to your cart and check out.  And the third way is to just go to the store on your PlayStation console and search for the game and get it.

Have you played the game?  Let me know what you think of it in the comments below!
