In the past, I have posted a number of really cool Batman cakes ranging from a birthday cake inspired by the Batman cartoon to a Tumbler and bipod cake from the Dark Knight movies.  However, as awesome as those cakes are, I think when it comes to Batman cakes, the one below is my new favorite.  The detail on Batman alone is quite spectacular!

This amazing Batman cake was created by Di’s Delights.  Apparently Batman was hand carved while the Gotham part of the cake was created with airbrushed Madeira sponge cake.  Sounds yummy!

The only thing I find a bit odd about this cake is that Batman’s head looks a bit…extra terrestrial.  Something about the shape of his head and eyes just screams space alien to me.  The rest of him seems fine, it is just the head that I find a little creepy.

Human Batman or space alien Batman, I don’t think it matters much because this is still a cool cake and I suspect this Liam had one great birthday!
