When I was playing Legend of Zelda on the NES as a kid, I would have never imagined people would eventually do all kinds of crazy things the Hyrule world map. In the past, I have posted about people turning the Hyrule world map into a giant wall mural and even some using it to make a Legend of Zelda beer pong table, but now it appears one fan has recreated it with LEGO bricks.
A truly geeky fellow by the name of Michael Kuroda recreated the NES classic Legend of Zelda Hyrule map with LEGO bricks. To give you an idea of the size of this Legend of Zelda LEGO build, each LEGO stud represents 16 × 16 pixels on the in-game map, and the overall LEGO map is 256 studs wide by 88 studs tall!
Compared to all of the other amazing LEGO builds I post, this one actually seems like something I could handle doing. Unfortunately, LEGO bricks are a little on the expensive side so I doubt I will be doing this anytime soon although it would look great hanging over my bed.
