Around here, I never see any snow sculptures although if we get a decent snow storm you will see the occasional snowman in neighborhoods with a lot of kids.  However, even with a good snow storm, I don’t think we will ever get enough snow to make something as monumental as this 53′ Optimus Prime snow sculpture.  Apparently this gigantic snow sculpture is part of this year’s Asahikawa Winter Festival which runs until February 12th.  I’ve never had any desire to go to Japan before but I would love to see this 53′ Optimus Prime snow sculpture in person.
