To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Super Mario Bros, shoe maker Converse has decided it is going to release some Super Mario Bros themed Chuck Taylor sneakers.  The will come in either black or white, both pictured below.  They are supposed to star shipping in July, to Japan that is.  No word on if they will come to the US but I would hope so, otherwise I might have to pay to have a pair imported.  Why has it taken shoe companies this long to make some awesome shoes like this?  I’m tired of generic looking shoes.  I want some Battletoads shoes!
