If you have wondered why I haven’t posted any of my astrophotography in a long time, its because between telescope hardware issues and software issues, my observatory has been offline for I think around 2 years at least.  Well, as of last night, its now 100% operational again!

After making some modifications to my telescope (re-installing the spotting scope), the final piece of the puzzle was in place for my telescope to work and get aligned again last night.  After a few software headaches, I managed to get things up and running and I spent the night imaging the galaxy Messier 33 (M33).

Not half bad for my first night out and being really rusty!  I will admit though that I used a little more AI to process the image than I have in the past but in my defense, I lost my Photoshop plugins I use for processing so there was only so much I could do before I turned to AI to finish the process.  It came out great though!
