If you are like me and didn’t manage to pre-order a Nintendo Switch before all the pre-orders sold out but have a Wii U and have been salivating over the new Zelda game but aren’t sure if you should wait and get it for the Switch or just get it on the Wii U, these Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U vs Switch comparison videos should help you decide!

With the obvious exception of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the Nintendo Switch launch titles are fairly underwhelming in my opinion (not that anybody is even talking about them because there is a new Zelda game out) and while I know there is a new and amazing looking Mario game on the way for the switch, I’m not so sure that just one game can really justify buying a new console at this point.  So for those that feel the same way as I do and are curious about how the Wii U version holds up, these  Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U vs Switch comparison videos should help you decide if you should drop the money on a new console at this point or just go buy the game for the console you already have.  From the reviews I have seen so far and the fact that Zelda: Breath of the Wild is already sitting at the #2 spot for all time best game (right behind Ocarina of Time) on Metacritic, its obvious that it is a must own game but just which version should you get?

Check out the videos below comparing the two and see if you can tell a big difference and let me know in the comments below which version you are going to buy.  As for me, while I would definitely prefer the 900p resolution on the Switch over the 720p version on the Wii U, thats really not enough to justify buying a new console because the videos look near identical in every other way.
