One of my favorite hobbies is stargazing and I have to admit that I get rather annoyed with my neighbors and their outdoor lighting that stays on all night long every night of the year (one has a giant security light in their backyard while the other has halloween lights that cover there back patio that they never take down). Between that and the big trees on my street, there is little I am able to get good views of from my yard many nights. However, since I have access to an observatory with a 22″ telescope whenever I want it, I can usually get by. But, if I had a neighbor like this guy, I would be torn between wanting to kill him and worship him.
The video below is of YouTube user Tom BetGeorge’s 2014 Christmas lighting display which is set to Star Wars music and even features a lightsaber battle on the roof! If you are curious about what went into this Star Wars Christmas light show, the guitar is 17′, the piano is 19′ and there are around 100,000 lights used! I’d hate to see what this guys electric bill is like at the end of the month!
If you want to see this house in person, you can find it on the corner of Lafayette and Ruschin in Newark, CA and it is usually lit up between 6-10pm.
The Force is strong with this house!
