For whatever reason, it seems rather socially unacceptable for adults to play with kids toys like action figures. LEGO seems to be an exception to that but even that seems to get some people to snicker and laugh. Well, while playing with dolls and action figures as an adult might seem odd to many people, it is completely awesome when they are used to create sculptures!
Australian artist Freya Jobbins is one such artist that takes old dolls and action figures, rips them apart and creates human sculptures out of them. In this particular case, she took a bunch of Darth Vader toys and made the head of Darth Vader.
I’d say this is just about as cool as the steampunk Darth Vader helmet I posted last year.
