Maybe I am just one of the lucky ones because all of my old consoles and controllers are still in working order (except on one of my Nintendo 64s, the reset button is stuck down although the console still works fine).  Well, for those that are unlucky enough to have something like a controller die, at least they can be recycled into a desk organizer!
