I have always thought it would be cool to own one of the space shuttles, but I suppose owning a space shuttle looking food truck would be much cheaper and almost as cool. Well, for those who have $150,000 laying around to buy a food truck that looks like the space shuttle, this awesome Space Shuttle Cafe food truck is for sale on eBay!
As cool as this food truck looks, perhaps the most interesting part is its history. This space shuttle food truck started its life as a plane built in 1944 for flying in World War II before spending the next couple of decades as a commercial airline before it got hijacked to Cuba. Then, in 1976, it was made roadworthy when it was put on a GMC bus frame and then in 2001, it was turned into the Space Shuttle Cafe. Talk about an interesting life!
