Stormtrooper in Captain America Cosplay [pic]

Its always kind of strange to see your favorite fictional characters dress up as other fictional characters.  In the past, I have posted about Darth Vader dressing up like Super Mario and apparently a Stormtrooper decided to get into the cosplay act and dress up as Captain America.  Sadly, I don’t know where this was taken or who this cosplayer is, but I am impressed at how well this costume turned out.  Who would have thought that a Stormtrooper could be painted up like Captain America and look this good?!

    This picture was taken during the July 4th, 2011 Parade in Waikiki, Hawaii. Thank you for the kind words Jeremy! Jeff, I’ve thought for years that Captain America and the Stormtrooper’s designs worked well together. I had wanted to paint my armor quite some time but was afraid to ruin the armor. I finally decided to do it when my armor had started to yellow, it was over 10 years old and well broken in, I also marched in the 2007 Tournament of Roses Parade. I also just wanted to do something different after being an anonymous trooper for so many years.

    I’m amazed at how many other Captain America Troopers have sprouted up since I did this. As far as I know I was the first CAP Trooper. Its cool to think that I may have inspired an artist or another trooper.
