I’m not exactly sure this would qualify as geeky, but I would be lying if I said I didn’t love watching explosions.  I don’t care what is exploding, if it is an old building being demolished or just some fireworks, I love things that go boom.  I can now say that I love exploding lakes too after seeing the video below.  I don’t know anything about the explosion in the video below other than it apparently took place at some rock quarry.  I think it is safe to say that this is an explosion that will even make the Mythbusters jealous.  Too bad there wasn’t a camera farther away to get a better idea of the effect of the explosion.
