If you thought that the amount of touchscreen space on all of the tablets that are coming out would be enough for anybody, you would be very wrong. The University of Groningen turned a 3D movie theater screen measuring 10 meters x 2.8 meters into the worlds largest touch screen using free and open source software. It can handle an impressive 100 touch points (twice what Microsoft’s Surface tables can handle). Apparently it makes for a great teaching tool for teaching students interactivity.
