Growing up in a family of gun lovers and having many state shooting championship awards myself, if there is one thing I am familiar with, its ammo boxes.  However, I’ve never seen anybody go to such lengths to decorate an ammo box as has been done with this awesome R2-D2 ammo box.  Of course I have seen some minor decorations and stuff on ammo boxes but nothing to this extent.  Etsy seller NoDice1904 is the creator of this amazing R2-D2 ammo box but unfortunately, it has been sold already so if you have dreams of owning this, you will have to either keep dreaming or paint your own.

I can’t even remember the last time I did the Easter Egg decoration thing as it has been a lot of years ago, but I know I never made anything cool like these with my Easter eggs.  I would always stick with just one solid color on my eggs but that wasn’t enough for journalist and ex-cartoonist Charles Apple who decided to make a bunch of Marvel and DC superhero Easter eggs.  They are all awesome, but I think my favorite would be either Batman or Superman.  However, I would probably stick with the Battlestar Galactica Easter eggs but that is just because I’ve never been a hug comic book fan.

TARDIS Sock Monkey [pic]

I’ve never cared about the whole stuffed animal thing since I was really little, but I might be able to get on board with the idea of a TARDIS sock monkey.  OK, so it would still be kind of weird for a grown man to own a sock monkey, but as long as it is a TARDIS sock monkey, I think that is acceptable.  Right?  Anyway, this awesome TARDIS sock monkey was made by a Doctor Who fan over on the Craftster forums that goes by the name kwiltykate.  Something tells me TARDIS sock monkeys would be big sellers on Etsy.

Although this probably isn’t the sharpest looking Star Wars tattoo I have posted, this is perhaps one of the most impressive largely due to its size and everything it includes.  Between the Millennium Falcon, Death Star, Darth Vader and even Yoda, its all here.  However, I do find the lack of droids to kind of make me sad.  With or without them, this full back Star Wars tattoo is still very impressive.  I can’t say I know many people that would turn their back into a giant work of Star Wars art, so I solute this guy!  This tattoo was inked by Hugo at Heroic Ink in Ames, Iowa.

One of my all time favorite sci-fi shows is Battlestar Galactica.  I don’t think it is the best sci-fi show, but it was damn good most of the time.  Well, it seems like I am not the only one obsessed with the show from the looks of this amazing set of Battlestar Galactica Easter eggs!  Due to my lack of artistic skill, I think I am just going to have to stick with the numerous Battlestar Galactica t-shirts to show my love for the show, but whoever made this amazing BSG Easter eggs did an amazing job!  So say we all!

Just when I thought the Nightmare Before Christmas eyelid makeup was the coolest Nightmare Before Christmas themed thing I would ever see, it seems that somebody has come up with an amazing Nightmare Before Christmas Easter egg.  This hollowed out chicken egg was turned into a work of art by Lorraine Schleter when she decided to paint the iconic Nightmare Before Christmas scene on it.  This is definitely one of the most amazing Easter egg creations I have never seen, although I still prefer the Dalek Easter egg I posted the other day.
