Not many people may know this, but I have more than my fair share of Game Boys.  As a kid, I seemed to collect them and I still have a box of various Game Boy systems sitting in my basement that I like to open up and play on occasion assuming I have some spare AA batteries around.  However, there is one Game Boy I don’t have in my collection but would give anything to have and that would be this amazing steampunk Game boy.  I’ve seen some people do some cool customizations to their Game Boy before, but nothing like this steampunk Game Boy.  I want!

I’m always impressed when people create a spaceship from their favorite sci-fi franchise out of LEGO bricks.  Considering many builds that I have seen often take months to build, I’m not sure I would have the time or patience to do something like that.  Well, Garry King seems to be one of those people that thrives on tedious brick building as he used 6894 LEGO bricks to recreate a Cylon Basestar from Battlestar Galactica.  He has also built the Galactica itself, but I will save those pictures for another day.

I don’t think I know any Star Trek fan that hasn’t had the dream of sitting in the captain’s chair, but few will ever get that opportunity.  Well, Star Trek fan Kieran kind of got that opportunity in that he had a birthday cake made with a figure of him setting in the captain’s chair and Spock standing next to him.  I’m not quite sure its as good as actually sitting in Kirk’s chair, but its close enough I suppose.  This chocolate biscuit cake was made by Bake Cake Create for Kieran’s 40th birthday and I suspect it was a happy birthday!

Assuming I make it to the age of 65, I would love to have an awesome Star Trek themed cake like this dad got.  This awesome Star Trek: The Next Generation cake was created by Baking and Decorating and it features the Enterprise-D as well as a couple Borg ships shaped to look like the numbers 65.  Apparently the Enterprise-D was made from a gluten-free orange and almond cake so I think I would pass on eating it although I could stare at it all day.  It might not be the kind of cake I like to eat, but it is the kind of cake I like to look at!

I generally prefer my eggs to be scrambled although I do enjoy them painted up like Super Mario Bros characters as well.  Easter might be over (yay!), but these Super Mario Bros Easter eggs would be awesome any time of the year.  However, these aren’t your typical Easter eggs as these awesome Super Mario Bros eggs are done with acrylic paints and a sharpie rather than normal Easter egg dye.  You can find the guide on how to make your own Super Mario Bros Easter Eggs over on Instructables.

Growing up in a family of gun lovers and having many state shooting championship awards myself, if there is one thing I am familiar with, its ammo boxes.  However, I’ve never seen anybody go to such lengths to decorate an ammo box as has been done with this awesome R2-D2 ammo box.  Of course I have seen some minor decorations and stuff on ammo boxes but nothing to this extent.  Etsy seller NoDice1904 is the creator of this amazing R2-D2 ammo box but unfortunately, it has been sold already so if you have dreams of owning this, you will have to either keep dreaming or paint your own.
