Are you looking for a way to light up a room and impress your gamer friends at the same time?  Then I have found the floor lamp for you!  Etsy seller pieromenetti is selling this amazing Space Invaders LED floor lamp for $201.68 + shipping which is $148.49 for anybody in the US.  Apparently this is actually meant to be used as either a night light or a decorative light which makes this the most expensive nightlight I have ever seen but also the coolest.  Too bad I don’t have that kind of money to spend on a light.

Awesome Batgirl Cake [pic]

Jeremy Bray —  April 27, 2012 — 1 Comment

Batgirl may not get the attention that Batman does, but at least her cakes are just as awesome as his are!  This Batgirl cake might not be as monumental as the award winning Poison Ivy cake that I posted earlier this week, but it still looks amazing!  The detail on the Batgirl figure on top is quite impressive, as is the utility belt.  This awesome looking Batgirl cake was created by Tea Party Cakes, so if you are ever in the market for a really cool looking Batgirl cake, you know who to turn to!

Combining any Star Wars character with a Pokemon sounds a little strange but I think this actually works pretty well.  Bulbasaur was always one of my favorite Pokemon and Boba Fett one of my favorite Star Wars characters so I especially love this cool tattoo!  For those curious, this tattoo was created by the obviously talented Jonah Block and tattoo artist Cleber P. Valhala.  If you have seen any other crazy combination like this that worked out great, let us know in the comments!  Personally, I am hoping for some sort of Pikachu and Spock combination.

I’ve seen and posted a number of amazing console case mods in the past, but I think this amazing Halo Xbox 360 case mod has to be one of my all time favorites.  The only flaw I can even find with this amazing Halo themed Xbox 360 case mod is the angle at which Master Chief is shooting into the Xbox 360 and the angle at which the Xbox 360 innards are exploding out the other side don’t match.  That is just a minor gripe really, but I find it to be noticeable.  Anyway, this fantastic case mod was created by Richard Taylor, a dress designer from WETA to celebrate a million Xbox 360 sales in Australia.

I gave up wearing earphones several years ago in favor of earbuds, but when I did wear earphones, I always preferred the clip-on type.  They just seemed to be much more convenient than something that went over your head and you never really had to worry about them slipping off when you move.  Well, if these amazing hand-painted Zelda and Link earphones would have been around when I made the switch to earbuds, I never would have switched!  For the earphone wearing Legend of Zelda fans out there, Etsy seller ketchupize is selling these hand-painted Link and Zelda earphones for $35.25.

As delicious as such a thing sounds, I have never had a cake pop before.  Actually, it wasn’t until I started blogging about things like Xbox 360 controller cake pops and Pac-Man cake pops that I had ever even heard of such a thing!  Well, out of all of the different cake pops that I have blogged about, I think these Doctor Who cake pops are by far my favorite.  Aurora Cakes in Burghead, Scotland created these amazing cake pops that feature a clockwork man, an Ood, the TARDIS, a Cyberman, a Raxacoricofallapatorians, and an Adipose.  I’ve always wondered what a Cyberman would taste like…
