A much as I enjoy traditional art such as music painting, I think my favorite modern art medium is lattes.  Geeky latte art never fails to bring a smile to my face.  While some is better looking than others, I still appreciate the work that geeks put into these awesome beverages.  In the past, I have posted a ton (you can find them all by searching for latte art on the right) of latte art such as the mind blowing TARDIS latte art I posted back in September, but now we can add Daleks to the list of cool latte art creations.

This spectacular Dalek latte art was created by DeviantART user Coffee-Katie who created this at Caffe di Angeli in Fort Worth, Texas.  I might not be a latte drinker (I’m not a fan of hot beverages) but if I am ever in Fort Worth, I am definitely stopping there to get a Dalek latte!

Thanks to the holiday weight gain that I experienced this past holiday season due to all of the cookies I ate, I have cut back considerably on the number of cookies that I have been eating and by cutting back I mean I have hardly been eating any.  However, if somebody put this plate of Doctor Who cookies in front of me, I don’t think I could say no.

In the past, I have posted some cool TARDIS and Weeping Angel cookies and while I absolutely love those, I think these are now my favorite Doctor Who cookies!

Unfortunately, I don’t know who made these awesome Doctor Who cookies (if you know, please let us know in the comments so we can give them credit) that includes all of the Doctors, the TARDIS, a Cyberman cookie, a Weeping Angel cookie and even Sonic Screwdriver cookies.  I’ve seen a lot of geeky cookies in my day but I think these are by far my favorite!

And now I am hungry for cookies.  Damn.  So much for my diet I guess.

Its been a while since I have posted any cupcakes so I thought this would be the perfect time to post some cool Doctor Who cupcakes.  In the past, I have featured a number of delicious looking Doctor Who cupcakes including a TARDIS and 11th Doctor cupcakes as well as some really detailed Dalek cupcakes.  Well, now we can officially add fish fingers and custard to the list of cool Doctor Who cupcakes I have posted about.

Sadly, I don’t know who made these awesome Doctor Who capcakes to give them credit so if you know who made them, please let us know in the comments below so we can give them credit!

I have to admit, the TARDIS cupcakes look a little weird with the windows sticking out like that but the Fez and bow tie cupcakes are pretty cool.  However, I think my favorite is the fish finger and custard cupcake because who would ever think to put something like that on a cupcake?  However, I’m not sure what the cupcake in the upper left is supposed to be so if you have any ideas, please share them in the comments below!

Now I am hungry for a cupcake!

If I ever get around to cleaning all of the crap out of my basement, I’d like to put in a nice home theater setup.  Of course as long as we celebrate Christmas at my house, I don’t see that happening since half the basement is filled with Christmas decorations but a guy can dream.  Speaking of people with dreams of an amazing home theater setup, one guy spent $120,000 to convert his basement into the Batcave which is made up of mostly a really nice Batcave home theater.

Chris Weir is the Batman fanatic in the video below that spent 2 years and $120k building a Batcave in the basement.  While I am definitely impressed with the 120″ screen, nice seats, cave walls crafted out of foam and the Dark Knight batsuit, I think my favorite part of this setup is the entrance.

Being a huge fan of the Batman series from the 60s, the idea of recreating the entrance to the batcave with a bookshelf that opens after you push a button under Shakespear’s head is awesome.

Something tells me that if this guy ever decides to sell this house, he is going to have no trouble at all selling it to some rich Batman fan.  Maybe one day I will be able to afford to do something this cool at my house.  Until then, I can dream.

It never ceases to amaze me the kind of effort that steampunk fans will go through to create an amazing work of steampunk art.  If you just search for steampunk in the search box on the right, you will know what I mean.  Well, we have yet another incredible piece of steampunk art that comes from the Star Wars universe this time and it might be one of my all time favorite pieces of steampunk art!

A Star Wars loving steampunk fan named Mark created this amazing steampunk AT-AT for his fiance Caroline L.  I’d say she is one lucky gal!

The amount of detail on this machine known as Captain Bayley’s Infernal Mechano-Perambulator is quite impressive.  Apparently all of the rivets on this steampunk AT-AT were so tiny that they had to be applied with tweezers.  I bet this took a lot of time to make, especially with how well the paint is done.  I think the seaweed around the feet is a nice touch too!
