One of my favorite things is to see bloopers from the shows I love. Speaking of bloopers from one of the shows I love, to hype the release of season 7 of Star Trek: The Next Generation on blu-ray which comes out on December 2nd, this short but hilarious blooper clip has been released and I thought you guys would enjoy it as much as I do.

Given the corrupt, lying nature of our politicians and political system these days, not to mention how easily hackable the electronic voting machines have been proven to be, I really don’t put much stock in the election process these days. I still vote but I view it as a largely meaningless exercise. That said, when I look for somebody to vote for, I look for the candidate that seems to the the logical choice for the job and has the most logical ideas about how to improve things (I’m not one of those mindless drones that just votes for a single party although I generally lean Libertarian). I suppose you could say that while I think my vote is pointless, I still aspire to Spock the vote!
Speaking of voting logically, the awesome folks over at SuperHeroStuff are have this cool Star Trek Spock the Vote t-shirt on sale for just $9 right now! I’m not sure how long the sale will last so you might as well jump on this deal now, especially since it is election season anyway!

With winter quickly approaching, its time to start thinking about how you are going to stay warm on those long, cold winter days. These days, I just use natural gas to heat my home (yay for low income assistance!) but I do have a wood burning stove in my basement just in case the heater stops working. However, my wood burning stove just seems boring after seeing this amazing DIY R2-D2 wood burning stove.
Instructables user doddieszoomer created this amazing R2-D2 log burning stove out of an old propane tank. You can see all of the steps and pictures for making your own over on the Instructables guide they created for making your own. However, if you are DIY challenged or just don’t have the tools to build one for yourself but you still want one, you can bid on this one over on eBay. As of the time of this writing, there are 5 days to go on the auction with no bids so you have a little bit of time and not much competition if you want to pick this up. However, make sure you are aware of the shipping charges because shipping something like this isn’t cheap! Shipping is showing approximately $303.16 for me so keep that in mind if this is the droid stove you are looking for.

The #1 I hate about my bedroom is the lack of outlets for plugging stuff in. Having only one outlet means I have a number of power strips daisy chained just to run all of my computers, game consoles, tv, and a ton of other gadgets and as much as I would like to have a mini fridge in my bedroom, I don’t want to push my luck and increase the risk of burning my house down any more than than I already have. However, if I ever get another outlet put in or move somewhere that I have the ability to plug more stuff in, this Borg mini fridge is exactly what I will get!
The Star Trek loving nerds over at ThinkGeek are selling this amazing Borg Cube mini fridge for $149.99. This Collective approved fridge can hold up to 9 pop cans with a little bit of room to spare and lights up green just like a real Borg Cube! If you are a Star Trek fan who hates having to walk all the way to the kitchen to get something to drink while you are Netflixing on Star Trek: Voyager, this is the perfect mini fridge for you! And one other interesting note, not only can this keep food cold but it can also keep it warm up to 149°F!
Now, if only somebody could invent a transporter to beam the pee out of you, you would never have to leave your bedroom ever again!

Whenever I find myself posting about cupcakes, it makes me wish I lived somewhere like San Francisco where they are a much bigger deal than they are here because around here it seems like you only see them at special occasions like weddings and other big parties. Actually, I would rather cupcakes become a bigger deal around here than moving somewhere that they are because moving is a real pain in the butt! Anyway, speaking of cupcakes, I think I may have found my all time favorite Doctor Who cupcakes in the pictures below!
In the past, I have written a ton of posts featuring all sorts of Doctor Who cupcakes like these ones and all of these (you can find a bunch of other Doctor Who cupcake posts if you search for them with the search box on the right) but I don’t think any have turned out quite as awesome as the ones below.
This amazing TARDIS cake and these incredibly detailed Doctor cupcakes featuring the iconic outfits of all of the Doctors was created by Madrid based baking company, Catcakes. It is too bad they are halfway across the world from me because I would love to order some of these incredible looking cupcakes!

When it comes to tea, I’m strictly an unsweetened fresh brewed iced tea kind of person. I don’t do sweet tea, I don’t do bottled tea and I definitely don’t do hot tea (I don’t like hot beverages of any kind). However, I know that there are a lot of people out there that do enjoy hot tea (you guys are a bunch of weirdos!) and for those hot tea lovers who also love Doctor Who, I have found the perfect TARDIS teacup, saucer and spoon that will make your timey wimey tea time fantastic!
Etsy seller DragonflyArts sells these awesome made-to-order TARDIS teacups for between $36-62 depending on if you want just the cup or some combination of the cup, saucer and spoon. Also, be aware that shipping times at least for the US are around 4-6 weeks so if you are thinking about getting this as a gift, make sure you order with plenty of time to spare. Below are some details about these Doctor Who inspired creations as well as a picture.
Each cup and saucer are thrown on the potters wheel, hand painted with black clay & various glazes, hand carved and then stamped with custom made clay stamps that I made just for this item.
Glazed on the inside with starry white & blue glazes and on the outside in my own version of Tardis blue (non-toxic), which contains hints of darker blue, lighter blues and hazy green nebula mists.
