We have a winner!  I have posted probably hundreds of geeky cakes on here at this point and while some of them are quite amazing, I don’t think any of them can compare to this mind blowing Skyrim cake.

This amazing Skyrim cake was made to look like Alduin, the final dragon boss in the main Skyrim storyline, by Vera from Baking Obsession for her son’s birthday.  Here are the yummy details for those who want to make themselves hungry:

It was made of four 13″x18″ sheets of chocolate cake, soaked in strawberry syrup, and sandwiched with bittersweet strawberry ganache (5 lbs of chocolate). Alduin’s core is made of modeling chocolate. His scales, horns, and spikes are made from gum paste. The double-sided wings are half-and-half (fondant/gum paste). His eyes are Swarovsky crystals.

Whenever I am playing some Halo online, I always try to get the energy sword because I know I can kick some serious butt with it.  There is nothing quite as satisfying as hearing a bunch of 10 year olds cry about the fact that you keep killing them.

Well, if there is another good use for Halo energy swords, it would be as a lamp!  Etsy seller TheBackPackShoppe is selling this amazing Halo energy sword lamp for just $70.  I might not be one for using a lamp (I prefer total darkness except for the light emitted by my monitors), but if I ever decide to buy a lamp, I want it to be this one!

When it comes to the Legend of Zelda franchise, Ocarina of Time has always been my favorite and while Majora’s Mask didn’t quite live up to the insanely high bar that Ocarina of Time set, it still has its legions of fans.

Well, it is for those fans that I decided to post about this awesome Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask charm bracelet.  Etsy seller TorresDesigns is the person selling this really cute Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask charm bracelet for $84.99.  That seems a bit high to me for a charm bracelet but considering how cool the charms are, I would say it is worth it.

I’ve been considering some ways to geek up my bedroom a little more lately and other than putting up some video game and movie posters, I haven’t come up with any ideas that were really cool.  Well, after seeing this amazing Super Mario Bros themed shelves and warp pipe table, I now have a desire to do make this in my bedroom!  Include some little speakers to play some Super Mario Bros sounds when you open up the question block cabinets and these would be the coolest shelves ever!  Too bad you can’t just buy this somewhere because I am really not very good at building stuff with my hands.

Since I can already tell the time on every computer, video game console and gadget I own, not only do I no longer wear a watch, but I really don’t have a reason for a wall clock either.  Well, if I did decide to buy a wall clock (come to think of it, I could use one in the bathroom), then I would most likely go for this awesome Tetris wall clock!

Etsy seller walldecoration is selling this really cool Tetris wall clock for $28. Seems like a good price to me for this kind of time telling gaming awesomeness.

I’ve owned a Nintendo Entertainment System for nearly 23 years (I got it on my second birthday) and if there is one thing I have always wanted, it is for it to be portable.  Sure, I can play some of the classics on my Nintendo 3DS or on the NES emulator on my PSP but its just not the same without having to blow on the cartridge to get the game to work.

Well, one gamer with a fondness for the NES decided to build a portable NES out of wood.  I’d say the end result is quite stunning and while I am not sure I would call something that large portable, it is still a very impressive build.
