Archives For gaming

There are some areas I can’t even imagine getting a tattoo due to the sensitivity of the skin and the top of a persons feet is pretty high on that list.  Just the thought of getting my feet inked makes me cringe!  Well, one gamer decided to ignore the pain and get these cool 8-bit Mario and Luigi tattoos on his feet!

The artist Anthony “Tank” Mansfield (Check out his amazing robot art) got these awesome 8-bit Mario and Luigi tattoos on his feet to celebrate his 30th birthday which marked 25 years since he had his first gaming experience with Super Mario Bros.  This Super Mario Bros inspired feet tattoos were done by David Boggins at Body Language Tattoo in Columbus, OH.

Normally, I am not a big fan of the whole throw pillow idea where you have a million pillows sitting on a bed or couch to make it look nice, but until now, I have never come across some awesome pillows either!

For the gamers out there that love Legend of Zelda and are looking for a good way to decorate their bed/couch or just have something to rest their head on while they game, then these are the rupee pillows for you!  Etsy seller RachelsRupees is selling these awesome Legend of Zelda rupee pillows for $12/each.  Unfortunately, the pillows have just sold out, but I would expect more will be available soon so keep checking back because these pillows are too awesome not to have!

Although I haven’t really been looking too hard, I am in the market to find a new coffee table for my living room since the glass on mine is in bad shape.  If I had the money, I would love to have the Star Trek Enterprise coffee table or Millennium Falcon coffee table I have posted about in the past but they are way out of my price range.

However, I would gladly pay a slightly high price for one of these amazing Pac-Man tables if they were for sale! Thanasis Mokas a carpenter, furniture designer and photographer from Athens, Greece is the creator of these amazing Pac-Man tables and while I don’t see any way to buy them, I still want to give this guy props for creating such amazing Pac-Man tables.

One of these days,  I am going to learn my lesson and stop blogging about food first thing in the morning because this picture is really making me hungry for pizza.  Now I also have the strange urge to play some Pokemon too.

Anyway, I can’t decide if I like this awesome Pokeball pizza as much as the other Pokemon pizzas I have posted in the past, but if there is one thing I love, it is a good cheese pizza!  And the one thing this pizza has that the others don’t is a Pikachu drawing on the box (although to be fair, the others didn’t have boxes).

Now somebody bring me a pizza!

Recently, I posted an awesome looking Portal themed gas mask and while it was absolutely amazing, if I am going to have a gaming themed gas mask, I think I would probably go with this awesome Legend of Zelda inspired Hylian gas mask!

DeviantART user TwoHornsUnited (the same guy that created the Portal themed gas mask) is the creator of this awesome Legend of Zelda gas mask and the coolest part is that you can buy one!  If you have $180, you can buy a Legend of Zelda Hylian gas mask at the Tampa Bay Metrocon which runs June 15-17.  However, if you aren’t able to make it, TwoHornsUnited will apparently be taking orders to make more after June.  This is awesome!

When I was younger, I used to collect Pokemon cards.  I never actually played the card game (although I did play the Game Boy version of the Pokemon Card Game) but I enjoyed collecting the cards.  Although I don’t mess with them anymore and actually have no idea what I have even done with my collection of Pokemon cards, I can assure you that I never did anything as awesome as make a dress out of them!

The girl that made and is modeling this awesome Pokemon card dress is Becki (I don’t know her last name).  I can’t even imagine the hours it took to create this dress but it was well worth it!  Great job Becki!
