When some people are about to become fathers, they are overcome with worry about whether they will be a good father or just hoping they don’t screw the kid up.  However, there are others that take to fatherhood like a duck takes to water and this is a tale of one of those kinds of dads.

When Cole Bradburn was getting ready to become a father, he decided to paint the baby’s nursery to look like The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks and The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.  The result is absolutely astonishing!  Below is a picture of just one wall in the room but if you want to see the whole thing, check out the video below which also includes a making of segment at the end of the video.  I officially nominate Cole Bradburn for father of the year!

As much as I love playing Galaga, I am not an alcohol drinker so this Galaga engraved pilsner glass isn’t really something I would get much use out of, but I still think it is awesome!

For the Galaga fans that do enjoy the occasional beer, Etsy seller WastedTalentDesigns is selling this awesome Galaga engraved pilsner glass for just $25.  However, one thing to note is that since this is engraved glass, it is delicate so it should only be hand washed and not put in a dish washer.  Doing the dishes seems like a small price to pay for this awesome Galaga beer glass but I’ve never been one to use a dish washer anyway so perhaps I’m not the best person to talk.

Unfortunately, I have never had the pleasure of trying a cake pop.  They sound delicious and I have posted some pretty amazing ones like the Doctor Who cake pops from a while back, but I have never even come across them in person to try some.

Well, here are some more amazing cake pops I don’t get to try!  These awesome Angry Birds cake pops were made by Sweet Flair and they definitely look pretty sweet!  The level of detail on these Angry Birds cake pops is quite amazing.  They almost look like they jumped right out of my iPad!  However, it seems to me that the only bird that really looks angry is the yellow one.  Apparently the others are only slightly irritated.

Unless it is part of some sort of cosplay or at a sporting event, you almost never see anybody wearing face paint.  I find that to be an absolutely tragedy when I realize that people could be walking around with awesome things painted on their face like what you see below in this amazing Nintendo face paint.

This amazing Nintendo face paint which features everything from Navi to Kirby and even the button pad from the SNES controller was done by DeviantART user sweetgreychaos.  I can’t even imagine how difficult it is to paint one’s own face, much less have it come out this good so you can paint me impressed!   However, I can’t seem to decide which part I like best, Kirby or Tetris.  What is your favorite?  Let us know in the comments!

I’m not sure if it is a lack of good street artists around here or lack of a street art supporting culture, but you never see street art where I live.  Sure, the gangs like to make their presence known by tagging everything they see with graffiti, but as far as real art street art goes, you never see it around here.

Well, for those that live in the Netherlands, apparently you get to see awesome street art like this 3D Pac-Man street art!   Artist Leon Keer in Venlo, the Neterlands, painted and photographed this amazing piece of 3D Pac-Man street art.  The coloring on this 3D Pac-Man street art is beautiful but I think I find the 3D effect the most interesting part of this piece of video game art.  This is very impressive!

Like pretty much everybody with a Nintendo console or portable in the last 20 years, I am a huge fan of Mario Kart.  Unlike many that loved the game for the SNES, I didn’t have my first Mario Kart experience until the Nintendo 64, but I spent many hours playing that game both alone and with friends.  For such a simple game, it is a ton of fun!

Well, apparently I am not the only one who feels this way about the Mario Kart games because some happy couple got this awesome Mario Kart wedding cake to celebrate their special occasion!  This amazing Mario Kart wedding cake was made by Tracey of Little Cherry Cake Company and I think it is safe to say it turned out absolutely amazing!  It definitely falls under the category of looks too good to eat!  This definitely ranks up there with the epic Mario Kart wedding cake I posted a year ago.
