If you have been reading Global Geek News for a while, you know that one of my favorite things to post is nerdy wedding cakes.  They always look amazing so I just can’t help but fall in love with them.  Well, I have come across yet another incredible gaming wedding cake that I knew I had to share.

This amazing gaming wedding cake features tiers of Super Mario Bros (I’m not sure which one), Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, and Pac-Man / Ms. Pac-Man with some Legend of Zelda hearts on top.  The level of detail is quite impressive!

Sadly, I don’t know who made the cake to give them credit or who the happy couple is to congratulate them so if anybody knows, please post in the comments below so they can get the credit they deserve!

One of my favorite arcade games to play in various restaurants around town when I was a kid was Pac-Man.  Sadly, all but one or two restaurants have taken the old Pac-Man games out but at least I can play it on my phone when I get the urge.  However, Pac-Man food isn’t as easy to come by.

Back in January, I posted some really cool Pac-Man cupcakes that I found at my State Fair last year but I have to admit, I would much rather eat these Pac-Man cookies!

I’m not sure who made these delicious looking cookies but they were posted on Reddit by user mcmullet.  Whoever made them (possibly mcmullet), they did an amazing job with a couple of exceptions.  First, Where the heck is Inky?!  And second, why is Pac-Man headed right toward Blinky?  Does he have a death wish?  I want answers!

Tired of using the same old silverware/plasticware to eat your dinner?  Well, now you can kick dinner time into another dimension thanks to these fantastic timey wimey eating utensils!

The nerdy people over at ThinkGeek are selling this Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver cutlery set for just $23.99 right now!  That is 20% off the normal $29.99 price!  I’m not sure how long the sale price will last, so I would jump on this deal before it goes away!  That said, even at $30, I think this set is still worth it if you are a Doctor Who fan like I am!  FYI, these are made of plastic and stainless steel and they are dishwasher safe!

Sonic Screwdriver eating utensils might be overkill for a nice dinner of fish fingers and custard but you can’t live on those so I’m sure you will find other dishes to use these with.

Not being a very crafty person, I could never dream of making something like the spectacular Halo Master Chief cross-stitch seen below.  I guess I just didn’t get the crafty genes from my mother because she can do stuff like cross-stitch and I could never do something like that.  However, I don’t have to be able to do it to appreciate it and that is a good thing because this Master Chief cross-stitch is quite impressive!

The wife of Reddit user OkieCoder created this Halo Master Chief cross-stitch masterpiece over a period of five months.  The end product was made of a mind blowing 51,900 stitches!  Talk about dedication!

If you have have some crafty skills and have made any geeky wonders like the one below, let us know in the comments below!

If there is one thing that never fails to bring a smile to my face, it is a really good console mod.  In the past, I have posted a bunch of amazing NES console mods (just search ‘NES mods’ on the right to find them), but I think this is probably the first one I have posted where the end product looked absolutely nothing like an NES.  Where most console mods I see do fancy things with an existing NES, this one seems to have thrown the iconic NES look out the window and shoved the innards into a toaster instead!

This toaster Nintendo Entertainment System mod was created by Jarno Kotavuopio.  It has a ton of cool lights and buttons but most importantly, it is still a fully functional Nintendo NES!

Below is a picture as well as video of the impressive build.  I love that even the controller got a little attention and now the Nintendo logo on it lights up!

Much to the dislike of my bathroom scale, I have been eating perhaps more than my fair share of cookies lately.  I just can’t seem to help myself so I just grab a handful of them whenever I see somebody have them sitting out.  However, its probably a good thing that nobody has had cookies as awesome as these Star Trek and Doctor Who cookies otherwise I would probably take all of them.

These incredible looking Doctor Who and Star Trek cookies were created by Mallory Mae from Butterwinks.  If you are interested in finding out how she made this cookies and how you can make your own, she has an online course called Piping Cookies That Pop on Craftsy.

These cookies are so well done, I honestly don’t think I can pick a favorite!  The Kirk, Spock and Uhura cookies have an adorable cartoony look to them while the Doctor Who cookies are just plain awesome, especially the Dalek and TARDIS.  Which cookie is your favorite?
