If you are looking for a couple of droids and just can’t seem to find them, perhaps you should try looking down at your feet!  Or at least that is all one person has to do anyway.  Getting a pair of tattoos on the top of your feet doesn’t sound all that fun although considering my less than pretty feet, perhaps it is something that I should consider to make things look a little better.  Anyway, these awesome R2-D2 and C-3PO feet tattoos were done by Philip Szlosek of Inksmith and Rogers Tattoo Co. in Jax Florida.

If there is one franchise that needs to be put out of its misery, it is the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.  I absolutely loved the old Sonic games but it seems every recent attempt they have made to breath some live into the blue creature has ended in a train wreck.  Well, if there is one creation with the lovable hedgehog that isn’t a disaster, it is this amazing Sonic the Hedgehog cake!  When it comes to pure Sonic greatness, I would say this cake is definitely up there with the Sonic the Hedgehog cupcakes I posted last year.

I haven’t seen the inside of the gym in years, but if we had a gym around here where people would work out like this, I would definitely sign up!  Apparently this woman decided it would be best to do her stretches in a bikini, Darth Vader mask, high heeled shoes and with a lightsaber.  This is almost inspiring enough to make me want to get off my chair and work out right now!  Almost.  Remember, a geek at rest tends to stay at rest and if there is one thing I enjoy, its resting!  This picture was taken by modelxing (my new hero).

I usually make an effort to stay out political discussions whenever possible because I consider it to be a giant scam and show business for ugly people anyway.  Other than maybe Ron Paul, I can’t say there are any political candidates for this presidential election that I even care for.  Well, it seems I’m not the only one because some Star Wars fan is proposing that Obi-Wan Kenobi is our only hope for 2012.  While I’m not sure he is the best person for the job, he couldn’t be any worse than the nut jobs we have running for President now.

By now, I would assume that most everybody is familiar with not only Star Wars, but the original Legend of Zelda game on the NES as well.  Or at least they are familiar enough to understand the take this meme.  As you may recall from the Legend of Zelda, Link is told it is dangerous to go it alone so he should take this sword given to him by an old man.  Well, some Star Wars fan decided to adopt that idea and translate it to Han Solo and Chewbacca.  The result is that rather than going alone, you should take a wookie with you!

Despite the tiny 1.44MB of storage on the floppy drives of yesteryear, I have to admit that I kind of miss those big things.  I miss the sound of a noisy floppy drive and being able to snap that little metal door back and forth when I was bored.  However, if there is one thing I don’t miss, its the number of them that you had to have for things like Windows 95.  Speaking of large numbers of floppy drives, this picture gives your a good idea of just how far we have come with making storage smaller since 1995.  Here is a picture of 8GB worth of floppy disks (looks like less to me) and one tiny 8GB Micro-SD card today.  Wow.
