When you think of cupcakes, you traditionally think of round deliciousness.  Well, not all cupcakes are round as shown by these awesome square Super Mario Bros cupcakes.  These aren’t the first Super Mario Bros cupcakes I have posted as not long as last fall I posted some 8-bit Super Mario Bros cupcakes and other amazing Super Mario Bros cupcakes, but I’m sure these are equally delicious.  However, I do find the Yoshi cupcake to look rather weird since you just see his face.  Congrats to Cake Central Member Leticia Olea on making these awesome Super Mario Bros cupcakes!

I’ve seen a lot of ships that are built in bottles and even pennies that have been put in tiny bottles but this is the first time I have ever seen a TARDIS in a bottle.  As much as I would love to believe that this TARDIS just materialized inside of this glass bottle, the truth is that Craftster user hpotterwizard built this inside of the bottle.  I can’t even imagine what kind of steady hand would be required to build something like the TARDIS in the bottle.  That can’t be easy!  No word on if he built the Doctor and his companions to be trapped in the TARDIS that is trapped in the bottle.

As nice as rugs can be, I find they get in the way too much to be practical.  I find it difficult to open doors where rugs are in the way and they always seem to be bunching him and I end up tripping over them.  Well, if you don’t see rugs as a pain in the butt like I do, then perhaps you will want this awesome NES Controller rug!  Etsy seller WTCrafts is selling this awesome NES Controller rug for $63.  I haven’t been rug shopping to know if that is a good price but can you really put a price on NES greatness like this?

A while back, I posted some Star Wars party foods that included Strormtroopops never expecting to see anything like that again.  Well, somebody has one-upped that person with their own bunch of tasty Star Wars treats.  Not only are there some Stormtrooper pops here, but all of the major Star Wars characters have been made into pops including Yoda, Boba Fett, R2-D2, C-3PO, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Darth Vader and others.  Perhaps the most delicious looking part is the Rice Krispie Death Star.  Yummy!

I’ve seen some rather unique tattoo ideas in my day, but this one is definitely one of the stranger ones.  Whoever this guy is, he is apparently a huge Family Guy fan and decided to get a rather odd Peter Griffin tattoo on his arm.  Apparently he likes to fool people into thinking he is Peter Griffin by holding his arm in front of his face.  Sadly, I’m not sure this was very well thought out considering Peter Griffin doesn’t have two noses or a beard.  To each his own I suppose, but this is definitely not something I would ever do!

I don’t think I have watched any of the Addams Family shows since I was a kid, but I remember that my favorite character was Thing.  I’m not exactly sure why I identified so much with a disembodied hand as a kid, but I just seemed to like it more than the other characters for some reason.  Well, it seems I’m not the only one who had a love for the hand because the artist Doktor A. made this amazing steampunk version of Thing for an upcoming Addams Family-themed show at the Wootini Gallery in Carrboro, North Carolina.  And now I can’t seem to get the Addams Family theme song out of my head.  Just great.
