I’ve posted some pretty amazing fingernail art in the past, but I think this is the first time I have ever come across any Star Wars themed manicures.  Apparently Sylvia VonDeck is a huge R2-D2 fan so she decided to paint her fingernails to look like a bunch of R2-D2s.  I’m really not one for the painting of ones fingernails, but this is pretty cool!  These are definitely the droids I have been looking for!

A lot of people seem to think that mobile phones and tablets like the iPad are the future of mobile gaming and I think those people are idiots.  Sure, touchscreen interfaces works great for games like Angry Birds or Worms, but have you ever tried playing an FPS game like  Duke Nukem 3D on an iOS device?  The controls are so bad it is virtually unplayable which makes devices without buttons a joke when it comes to gaming IMO.

Well, if you want to show that you still support real mobile gaming while carrying around your iPad, then I have found the iPad envelope case for you!  Etsy seller MyGeekyBoyfriend is the creator of this awesome Nintendo Game Boy inspired iPad envelope case which can be yours for just $23!  I want!

I think you would be hard pressed to find a gamer who doesn’t have a special place in their heart for Donkey Kong.  It is one of those games that not only did people like me grow up on, but was great enough to inspire documentaries about people who hold the world record for the game.

Well, this Donkey Kong might not be exactly as you remember because it has been taken over by some of your favorite Star Wars characters instead.  I haven’t seen any indication that this is a real game, but I hope so because I would love to jump over the R2-D2 droids that Jabba the Hut is trying to throw at me while I try to reach slave Leia.

I’ve always thought it would be kind of cool to do the home automation thing to my house but I never really looked into it too seriously since I figured it would cost a ton of money to do.

Well, a UC Berkeley student named Derek Low invested only a few hundred dollars (and presumably a fair bit of time) turning his dorm room into an automated dream dorm room known as B.R.A.D (Berkeley Ridiculously Automated Dorm)!  With the automation of things like curtains, lights and even a disco ball, with just a few taps of an iOS app or spoken commands, this dorm room can be transformed from homework time to party time or even sexy time!

I post all kinds of great tattoos, but none of them ever seem to have any story with them.  Well, this Final Fantasy tattoo has a rather touching story with it.  Back in June, Taylor (the guy in the picture with this amazing Final Fantasy tattoo) sadly lost his brother-in-law in the war in Afghanistan.  Before his brother-in-law was killed, the two had decided to get tattoos upon his return from deployment.

Unfortunately, Taylor’s brother-in-law didn’t make it home to get that tattoo but Taylor went ahead and got one anyway as a memorial to his brother-in-law.  As for why the tattoo is a Final Fantasy tattoo, its because the two bonded over playing Final Fantasy XI.

If I didn’t have the emotions of a Vulcan, that story would bring a tear to my eye.

As much as I love how sturdy my leather iPad case is (I forget the brand), I have always thought it was a bit bulky for as plain as it is (all black).  I’ve been considering getting a new iPad case for a while but haven’t had much luck coming across anything I liked with a high geek factor.  Until now!

Etsy seller MyGeekyBoyfriend is the awesome person selling this fantastic hand-made, felt Boba Fett iPad case (which I would actually consider more of a sleeve) for just $29.00!  It also has a pouch for carrying your earbuds which is something all iPad cases need!
