It is really common to see Star Wars themed cakes that were based on the original trilogy (for example, the LEGO Stromtrooper cake I posted right before this post), but it seems like you almost never see any cakes from the newer Star Wars movies.  While I can certainly understand why nobody would want a Jar Jar Binks cake, there are certainly other cake worthy things from the newer movies.  For example, Darth Maul!

This amazing looking Darth Maul cake was created by Karren’s Specialty Cakes and Confections.  As just Darth Maul’s head, this would be an awesome cake but the inclusion of the hood is just icing on the cake!

I’ve never tried any of the LEGO video games whether they are Star Wars or something else.  However, I can’t seem to get enough of the awesome LEGO video game inspired stuff that people create.  In this case, a LEGO Stormtrooper cake!

This awesome LEGO Star Wars inspired Stormtrooper cake was created by Dazey Cakes.  For those that are interested in the yummy details, the arms are made of Rice Krispies Treats and legs and body are made of cake.  Of course the entire thing is covered in fondant which I suspect was the only non-yummy part of the cake.  Fondant makes for a great looking cake but I have never had any fondant that I would call delicious.

What have you been doing to kill time while not being able to connect and play Diablo 3?  Well, you could always do something like this and give your nails a really awesome Diablo 3 style paint job!

DeviantART user Undomiele is the creator of this impressive Diablo 3 fingernail art that portrays both the High Heavens and Burning Hells.  There is a little timelapse how-to video below that shows the making of these Diablo 3 nails so if you are curious what kind of work went into making this rather impressive fingernail art, make sure to watch it!

In my house, it is rare that cookies make it beyond the cookie dough stage (I eat tubs of cookie dough all the time) so I’m not sure these cookie cutters would be a good fit for me, but for the cookie loving Star Wars fans out there, these are some pretty cool Star Wars cookie cutters!

I have posted some Star Wars cookie cutters in the past, but these are focused on droids and aliens.  This Star Wars Droids and Aliens cookie cutter set features R2-D2, C-3PO, a Jawa and Chewbacca.  The best part is that Williams-Sonoma is selling the Star Wars Droids and Aliens cookie cutter set for just $19.95.  As you can see below, you can use them to make some pretty impressive cookies!

Some might consider this cupcake a chocolate overload (myself included), but this is a chocolate overload of awesomeness!

Apparently on Star Wars weekends, Disney’s Hollywood Studios sells these amazing chocolate Darth Vader cupcakes.  I’m not sure how much they are selling them for, but can you really put a price on a Darth Vader cupcake that looks this good?  I think not!

Although I think it looks a little strange without the handle on it, the lightsaber in the background seems like a nice touch since it brings some nice color to the cupcake.

Although I don’t often play them all, I still have every game console I have ever owned.  Sadly, I don’t really have any place to have them all hooked up so most of them are sitting in boxes in storage or in my basement.  Well, one gamer who has a couple more consoles than I do apparently decided to have all of their systems ready to go at any time and ended up creating this amazing entertainment system to house all of their consoles.

To say that I am jealous would be an understatement.  Maybe someday when I have some room, I will be able to do this in my house.  Until then, I will drool over this person’s setup.
