Super Mario World “Athletic” Music With Piano, Xylophone, & Tap Dancing

I have always thought that Super Mario World has some of the best video game music ever made.  I think that it has the best music of all the Super Mario games with Super Mario 64 coming in a close second.  I think the closing credits for Super Mario World might just be my all time favorite video game music.  However, if I had to pick a second favorite tune from the game it would have to be the Athletic theme.  So as you can imagine, when I came across this video of the Super Mario World Athletic music with piano, xylophone and tap dancing, it brought a huge smile to my face!

As I’m sure many of you know, I do like to post a lot of fan covers of video game music that I find to be special for whatever reason and this is no exception!  This is the first time I have ever posted a fan version of video game music that included a xylophone and tap dancing!  Its a crazy combination but it works!

The video was created by YouTuber AaronGrooves in collaboration with Jared Charney Cohen.  You can hear the whole story about how this awesome collaboration came to be at the end of the video but the final video turned out pretty amazing I think!

If you have any unique musical talents like these awesome guys do and have made a gaming themed music video like this, make sure to drop a link in the comments below and I might just feature it here on Global Geek News!
