I think you guys know just how much of a Star Trek fan I am at this point as well as how big of a metalhead I am so it should come as no surprise that when I came across this epic Star Trek: The Next Generation / First Contact metal cover that I knew I had to share it.  Even if you aren’t a metal fan, I’m pretty sure that at least with the Star Trek: The Next Generation theme metal cover that you will absolutely enjoy it!  I kind of feel like this is the way the Star Trek: The Next Generation theme should be played!

This incredible Star Trek: The Next Generation / First Contact metal cover was created by YouTube user Captain_Meatshield (truly a metal name if ever I’ve heard one).  He has done metal covers of the other Star Trek themes like Deep Space Nine which I might post at some point but this one I think is especially great which is why I decided to post it.  The first two minutes are the best part since that is the TNG theme cover but the whole thing is worth a listen, especially if you are a fan of Star Trek: First Contact.

I bet you never thought you would be headbanging to the Star Trek: The Next Generation theme did you?  Well I can’t say I ever ever expected to but this definitely calls for it!  The only bad part is I don’t have the long hair to make my headbanging look good.  Oh well!
