If I ever get my basement straightened out, I have long dreamed of doing something cool with it like turning it into a mini arcade or perhaps having a nice home theater setup but I’ve never thought of giving it an NES theme until now.  After seeing the NES themed room below, my thoughts about my basements future have completely changed because I want this for myself!

Unfortunately, I don’t know who owns this amazing Nintendo NES themed living room (if you know, please let us know in the comments below so we can give them credit), but they did an incredible job building it.  I’m not sure what I love most, the NES coffee table, the NES cartridge end tables or all of the cool Super Mario Bros woodwork that decorates the walls.

However, there is one real problem with this picture.  The Xbox 360 controller on the couch ruins the whole NES theme.  It should be a NES controller to properly keep with the theme but maybe I’m just being picky.

Does anybody know how much it would cost to build all of this?  I’m seriously interested in at least having the NES coffee table and cartridge tables.  That would give me the ultimate basement!
