One of the iconic toys from my childhood that you don’t hear much about these days is Mr. Potato Head.  I guess it makes sense that you don’t hear much about him anymore since most of today’s kids are obsessed with video games and the internet.  However, one of the things that made Mr. Potato Head such a great toy was that he was versatile and you could make him whatever you want.

This is how Flickr user Ginger Troll keeps him relevant even today, by turning the toy into a Big Daddy from Bioshock.  I think if the creators of Mr. Potato Head had parts so that kids could make things like the Big Daddy from Bioshock, the old toy might still have some life in it yet!  Or maybe I am just longing to be a kid again.
