Tired of fiddling with the knobs on your old Etch-A-Sketch in a sad attempt to make some sort of picture? Well, one guy decided to get his hack on and make drawing on the Etch-A-Sketch a little more gamer friendly by wiring up an NES controller to control the knobs. Stepper motors are hooked up to the knobs and those are controlled by an Arduino microcontroller which takes signals from the NES controller and interprets them into knob turns. Seems like an awesome hack but it seems like a lot of work just to make a more gamer friendly control.
