Chrome takes your language test for you [pic]

If there is one thing I know, it is that school can be a major pain in the butt, especially the tests that are given.  I could go on for hours about problems I have seen with tests from not including the right answer to horrible misspellings, but I will save those stories for another day.  Luckily, for those taking online classes like myself, you can now let your browser help you out, at least if you are taking a foreign language class.  Apparently at the NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies, they do online testing for foreign language placement, or at least they do it for the Italian language.  For better or worse, this has given Chrome users a major advantage thanks to the browser’s built in language translation functionality.  Sadly, a little scripting is all it would take to fix this issue of easy cheating but apparently the school didn’t think of that.  The picture of this is below but it is safe to say I have lost some respect for NYU.  Click it to enlarge.

Make sure to pass this along to other students, especially if they need help in a foreign language class!  Not that I would encourage cheating…
