One of my biggest complaints about any touchscreen device is the lack of tactile feedback that you can get with a normal video game controller. I prefer buttons that I can use muscle memory to work rather than having to actually look to see what I am pressing. It seems I am not the only one with that complaint as some clever gamer has managed to make an old NES controller work to play a game called Reckless Racing on the iPad. The NES controller is used to control some mechanical fingers which operate the touchscreen on the iPad. It is a pretty clever hack! Below is a short video showing him getting the mechanical fingers working and playing the game which looks pretty fun.
